Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 2/3 cup parmesan cheese grated
- 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 6 chicken breasts boneless and skinless, halved
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Prepare two separate mixing bowls.
- In the first mixing bowl, combine the olive oil and the garlic.
- In the second mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, the parmesan cheese, the basil, and the pepper.
- Cover the chicken breasts with the garlic-oil mixture.
- Coat the chicken halves with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the chicken halves into the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining breadcrumbs over the chicken halves.
- Bake until the chicken halves are cooked through at 165 degrees F, about 30 minutes.
