Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 (16-ounce) can chili without beans
  • 1 (16-ounce) package mild or sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • green onions optional, to taste, chopped, for garnish
  • tortilla chips optional, to taste, for serving

Directions

  • In a 12x12-inch microwaveable glass pie dish or tempered glass dish, add the cream cheese.
  • Microwave the cream cheese until it is easily spreadable, about 1 minute.
  • Spread the cream cheese evenly over the entire bottom of the dish.
  • Add the chili, spreading it evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  • Top the chili evenly with the cheddar cheese.
  • Microwave the dip until the cheese is melted, about 3 minutes.
  • Top the dip with the green onions.
  • Serve with the chips.
