The Scoop

This casserole has serious potluck energy!
Johnny Marzetti combines saucy ground beef, tender elbow macaroni, sweet corn, mushrooms, and plenty of melted cheddar in one bubbling, golden bake.
It’s nostalgic, hearty, and exactly the kind of dinner that makes you want to bring out the big serving spoon.
Hack it:
Swap the ground beef for Italian sausage, ground turkey, or a beef-and-pork mix.
Add diced bell peppers, onions, spinach, or zucchini for extra color and texture.
Stir in sliced black olives or roasted red peppers for a more Mediterranean spin.
Finish with fresh parsley, basil, Parmesan, or crispy fried onions for extra flavor and texture.
Leftovers:
Crisp individual portions in a skillet until the edges get wonderfully golden.
Turn it into stuffed peppers with extra cheese melted on top.
Spoon the casserole over toasted garlic bread and broil for a cheesy open-faced dinner.
Wrap portions in tortillas with extra cheddar for quick pasta-and-beef burritos.
Chop it up and use it as a filling for quesadillas.
