Lazy Pork Chops

The Scoop

Dredging pork chops in milk and tossing them in seasoned breadcrumbs and salty Parmesan creates a golden, crisp exterior that seals in every bit of moisture.
It's fast, completely foolproof, and leaves you with almost zero kitchen cleanup so you can actually enjoy your evening.
Hack it:
Swap standard breadcrumbs for Japanese panko and add 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning or crushed rosemary to crank up both the crunch factor and flavor profile.
Replace the milk dredge with a thin layer of Dijon or spicy brown mustard brushed directly onto the chops; it adds a tangy kick and helps the parmesan crust adhere tightly.
Toss 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika and a pinch of cayenne pepper into the breadcrumb mix for a warm, subtle burn that cuts through the rich pork.
Skip the oven entirely and cook the coated chops in an air fryer at 390°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through for an extra-shattered, golden crust.
Leftovers:
Crispy Pork Katsu-Style Sandwich: Layer cold leftover pork chops onto soft brioche or milk bread with shredded cabbage, tonkatsu sauce, and a touch of Japanese mayo.
Cheesy Pork Parm Bake: Top reheated leftover chops with a spoonful of warm marinara and a slice of mozzarella, then broil for 2 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Savory Morning Hash: Dice leftover chops and pan-fry in a skillet with cubed potatoes, onions, and bell peppers until crispy, then crown with a fried egg.
Crispy Pork Caesar Salad: Slice cold chops into strips and pile on top of crisp romaine hearts tossed with classic Caesar dressing, extra grated Parmesan, and cracked black pepper.
