Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans trimmed
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper plus more, to taste
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese shredded
- 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
- Place the green beans on a large sheet pan.
- Add the oil and the salt to the green beans.
- Bake the green beans, tossing halfway through, until the beans are crisp-tender, about 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat the broiler.
- Sprinkle the green beans with the garlic and 1/4 teaspoon of the pepper and toss to coat.
- Top the green beans with the parmesan and the mozzarella.
- Broil the green beans, watching closely, until the cheese is melted and golden-brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Season the green beans with the extra pepper.
