Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter melted
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the melted butter, the brown sugar, the vanilla extract, and the eggs and mix to combine.
- Add the flour, the salt, the baking powder, and the cocoa powder to the butter mixture and mix to combine until no dry spots remain.
- Add the chocolate chips to the brownie batter and gently stir to combine.
- Transfer the brownie batter to the prepared baking dish and bake until the brownies pull away from the edge of the dish, about 32-35 minutes.
- Let the brownies cool for 30 minutes.
- Cut the brownies and serve.
