Bacon was a luxury for me, so I added it in, fully convinced it could make anything taste better.

While the oven warmed, I chopped and whisked, methodically making sure everything was well-mixed. Ingredients

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 6 eggs whisked
  • 6 slices bacon diced and cooked
  • 2 slices bread cubed
  • 1/3 red bell pepper diced
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic optional, minced, or to taste
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Stir the cheddar, eggs, bacon, bread, red bell pepper, green onion, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper together in a bowl, mixing until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake until the eggs are set, for about 20-25 minutes.
  • Serve!
