Hack it:
Add chopped pecans or walnuts between the dough pieces for a crunchy surprise.
Mix a little nutmeg, cardamom, or pumpkin spice into the cinnamon sugar.
Add raisins, dried cranberries, or chopped dates for chewy bursts of sweetness.
Drizzle the finished bread with a simple vanilla or cream cheese glaze.
Want a little contrast? Add flaky salt to the buttery brown sugar mixture.
Make it extra decadent with mini chocolate chips tucked between the dough pieces.
Leftovers:
Warm pieces and top with vanilla ice cream for an instant dessert.
Turn chunks into French toast with eggs, milk, and a little vanilla.
Layer pieces with yogurt and berries for a sticky-sweet breakfast parfait.
