Ingredients

  • 1/2 head green cabbage cut into 4 wedges
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • garlic powder to taste
  • red pepper flakes to taste
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 lemons halved

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  • Brush both sides of each of the cabbage wedges with the olive oil.
  • Season the cabbage wedges with the garlic powder, the red pepper flakes, the salt, and the pepper.
  • Arrange the cabbage wedges on a baking sheet.
  • Roast the cabbage wedges in the oven for 15 minutes.
  • Flip the cabbage wedges and roast until browned and charred in some areas, about 15 minutes.
  • Squeeze the lemon juice over the cabbage wedges.
  • Serve.
